Dear applicants of the National Population Commission NPC ad-hoc staff recruitment for the upcoming 2023 population and housing census, We understand that many of you have expressed concern about the status of your NPC application and whether or not you should attend the upcoming training. We’re here to provide you with an update and some guidance.

According to the new schedule NPC training timetable, some of the ad-hoc staff training is scheduled to take place after the 2023 Governorship election. However, we encourage you to attend the NPC training in your LGA of application, even if your status is still pending. This is because there might be a chance that you could be considered for training and possibly even replace approved applicants who fail to attend the training.
So, if you are interested in participating in the upcoming census, we suggest that you attend the NPC training in your LGA of application. This will increase your chances of being selected for the census and ensure that you are fully prepared for the task ahead.

Once you successfully participate in the training, your status will be updated from pending to approved. We have received confirmation from an NPC facilitator who faced a similar issue and attended the training session, and their status was later approved following the completion of the training.
We are excited to announce that the National Population Commission has officially commenced training for the controllers in charge of the Commission’s Local Government Area offices nationwide. This crucial training is in preparation for the upcoming 2023 Population and Housing Census. The training began on March 7th, 2023, and will cover the critical processes involved in the census workflow, as well as the Comptrollers’ role in ensuring the success of the census.
